It is an allergic condition which occurs seasonally and is caused primarily
by pollens, grasses, weeds and flowers, although it may be aggravated by
other substances.
The
common symptoms of hay-fever are watery discharge from the nose, eyes,
and throat, loss of taste and smell, and other symptoms similar to those
accompanying colds. The three most common symptoms are severe sneezing,
watery nasal discharge, and nasal obstruction or stuffy nose. Many patients
also complain of an annoying tickle inside the nose, which results in
violent sneezing. Others have dry, hacking cough, and some have a profuse
watery secretion with occasional or no sneezing or obstruction of the
nasal passages.
Since the hay-fever
is almost always due to allergies, it can be tested by NTT (Nambudripad’s
testing techniques) and treated by NAET®(Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination
Techniques).
